My Client is based in Abu Dhabi and is looking for a Senior Petroleum Engineer.
The successful candidate needs to have experience in well prognosis, completion engineering, perforation, horizontal completion, pilot wells and logging.
They will be required to have knowledge on well testing tools, procedures and parameters for wells (PBU, DST, Communication etc). Understanding of bottom hole pressure to generate ISO bar maps. Basic understanding of basic fluid properties (Oil/Gas/ Water) and FCF, Pb, GOR, Rs, Viscosity etc.
The Senior Petroleum Engineer will need to have
- Participated in the drilling and completion process and have good subsurface evaluation experience, majoring in well construction projects and well production optimisation and reservoir management.
- Skilled in completion design and coiled tubing and Work Over operations and production operations.
- Develop/refine well data storage and interrogation systems in consultation with well engineering, reservoir and operations team.
- Conduct technical and economical studies to quantify the potential well problems and maximise productivity.
- Diagnosis of well problems and propose corrective action
- Preparing programs for rigless operations, perforation, kick-off operation, stimulation and well testing to be carried out by service companies
- Coordinate and supervise down hole equipment testing and maintenance
- Supervise trials of new surface and down-hole equipment
- Follow up contractor service performance
- Monitor the daily operations and well reports including the review of basic process parameters, by reading and assessing logs
