About The Client
Our Client is a consulting company based in Calgary, Alberta. This company provides integrated reservoir management services and software to over 1000 oil and gas industry companies worldwide.
Founded in 1973, this company has grown on the basis of its technical excellence and client service. Our Client currently has a full-time staff of over 140 engineers, geologists, technologists, programmers and support personnel.
Working closely with our team of Account Managers, this person is responsible for supporting client engineers that use Fekete software applications.
The key responsibilities of this position are:
- Conduct one-on-one and web-based support sessions and technical demonstrations for clients.
- Teach short courses to groups of 12-15 engineers at individual companies.
- Provide telephone software support to clients.
- Facilitate client feedback sessions in order to enhance future software development.
- Spend approximately 10-20% of your time traveling within North America. Some overseas travel is possible.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years oil and gas experience, preferably in upstream reservoir and production engineering.
- Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology with 10-15 years experience in reservoir engineering.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, strong team player capable of working in and contributing effectively to the team environment.
