Job description :
The successful candidate will work onshore, in the operations department / drilling section.
He or she will report directly to the lead drilling engineer and will be mainly in charge of:
preparing operations programs,
producing technical & operational synthesis,
ensuring follow-up of operations,
ensuring cost follow-up,
conducting studies to improve performance,
ensuring the respect of safety rules & frames of reference.
The position will include frequent offshore visits (day trip and/or overnight stay).
Education :
Bachelor degree in petroleum engineering or equivalent
Fluent spoken / written English and Arabic
Experience :
3-5 years experience in similar position or in oil & gas engineering position
Skills :
Good interpersonal skills
Confident to deal with people in a multi-cultural environment
Safety-conscious
