Reports to: Region Production Manager, West
Requirements:
- Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology
- Must have CET designation.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience, but will consider senior applicants as well.
- Capabilities with pertinent software packages - GeoScout, Fieldview and OFM - or equivalents.
- Experience with an economics software package.
- Familiarity with reading downhole electric well logs
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with the following:
- Identification of workover and production enhancement candidates.
- Optimization of artificial lift - beam lift, plunger lifts, etc.
- Generation of workover and recompletion procedures.
- Maintenance and analysis of artificial lift failure data.
- Capital project justification by performing economic analyses using Aries.
- Well production monitoring and problem identification using OFM and Fieldview.
- Preparation and management of AFEs.
- Database management and results tracking of recompletion and workover projects.
- Ensuring ERCB compliance for production related issues.
- Monitor asset profitability utilizing lease operating statements.
- Some travel to field locations required.
